PUBLIC NOTICE

The Court of First Instance nº 4 of Madrid, which knows the execution of judicial titles nº 1033/2004, prosecuted by Don Domingo López Alonso against Barclays Bank, S.A., by Writ on 14 July 2005, has stated the nullity of Writ of execution, the non admission of the judicial complaint and concluded the proceeding.

The Fondo de Garantía de Depósitos en Establecimientos Bancarios, as judicial and economic responsible part of the obligations that could be required from Barclays Bank, S.A., announces this important event, as an obligatory complement to its former official statements about this matter.
